Human Resources Officer - The City of Gulfport is seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to lead its Human Resources Department. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of complex personnel duties relative to specialized areas such as recruitment, employee relations, communications, orientation, benefits, worker’s compensation, risk management, development of policies, salary and benefit research. Bachelor’s degree required, supplemented by three (3) years of experience in governmental human resources/risk management. A comparable amount of experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications. Salary range:  $43,418 - $69,469 annually with excellent benefits. RECREATION LEADER - City of Gulfport. Summer seasonal full-time positions available from June 21st thru August 13th. Education/experience preferred in education, physical education or child care. Knowledge of recreational activities including games, arts & crafts and sports. Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or equivalency. Entry $10.057/hr. Backgrounds, drug screenings and physicals will be conducted. JUNIOR COUNSELOR - City of Gulfport. Summer seasonal part-time positions available for Gulfport resident’s ages 15-17 years old from June 21st thru August 13th. Experience working with children preferred. Entry $7.25/hr. Backgrounds and drug screening will be conducted. RECREATION LEADER – CITY OF GULFPORT. Immediate part-time evening position available for the Teen Night Program. Education/experience preferred in education, physical education or related field. Knowledge of recreational activities including games, arts & crafts and sports. Entry $10.057/hr. Backgrounds, drug screenings and physicals will be conducted. Position will remain open until filled. TROLLEY DRIVER – CITY OF GULFPORT. Immediate part-time position available for an experienced Trolley Driver. Must be experienced in operating large commercial vehicles. Class B CDL license with passenger and air brakes endorsement required. 22-30 hours per week. Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends. Entry $10.56/hr. Backgrounds, drug screenings and physicals will be conducted. Position will remain open until filled.
