P/T TECHNOLOGY SYSTEM SPECIALIST – City of Gulfport:Position provides technical assistance, support and solutions in the installation, maintenance and utilization of computer systems and other related technology within our Police Department. Must possess excellent communication/interpersonal skills with above-average analytical skills.  Advanced knowledge of PC, software applications, multi-function copier machines, associated networking and operating system concepts. Proficient in Microsoft Windows platform, municipal technical operations and Law Enforcement software. Documented experience with MS Office and MS Internet Explorer required. Min Req: Associate’s Degree in computer related field, or Microsoft Certification, along with one year directly related experience installing, maintaining, or repairing PC equipment. Entry: $17.55 P/H. Background, drug screening, and physical will be conducted. E.O.E.
